Life Groups at the BLVD

Our next life group semester will be from October 5 - November 16. During this semester, we encourage our life groups to commit to meeting weekly for that 6-week period. Commit to this time, and I believe your life group will see spiritual formation in a new way.

Additionally, childcare is back! Please use this link to sign your child for childcare which will be offered on Sundays from 4-5:30. It is important that all families planning to use childcare complete the sign up so that we can make sure we have the help we need.

Women's Life Group: Emotionally Healthy Relationships

Discipleship that deeply changes your relationship with others. Material will be provided. Light reading required prior to each meeting, with a time of devotion, training video and practice. To get the most out of the study, participation in all 8 sessions is strongly encouraged. If you know ahead of time that you're unable to make 2 or more meetings, we advise participation in a study that fits better with your schedule. Sign up here.

Women's Life Group: Crafted with Purpose

Crafted with Purpose is a 5 session series diving into Hebrews 14: 24-25. During each session, we will begin with a story or reflective experience that helps us slow down and step away from distractions — setting the tone for God to move. Participants are invited to engage deeply with God’s Word through reflection questions, teaching, and discussion. After hearing the Word, women move into creative response — painting, crafting, journaling — opening space for the truth to move from head to heart as God works through their hands. Sessions close with small-group sharing, and prayer, helping women process together, build connection, and encourage one another in what God is doing.

We will meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month starting October 6 in the BLVD Gathering Space. All supplies included in the cost of registration. The cost of supplies for each participant is $60, but we are offering this Life Group as: "pay what you can". If you are able to contribute more to help offset the cost for others, great! If you're in a season where you're only able to pay a few dollars, that is also great. Come as you are. Payment due at the first session - Cash, Venmo or Card. Sign up here.

Men of the Morning

Men's ministry morning prayer

Facilitiated by Shomari Tate, Men of the Morning meet in the sanctuary of The BLVD Church at 6 AM on the second Tuesday of the month for a time of prayer followed by donuts, coffee, and fellowship.

Wednesdays 6:30-8:00PM, starting 10/1

Emotionally Healthy Relationships 8-week video and devotional study for men & women. Child care provided for a fee. Topics include: Clarify Expectations, Explore the Iceberg, Incarnational Listening, Clean Fighting, and Developing a Rule of Life. Mark, Kendra, Cecilia, and Leo moved to Holland from Indiana in the Summer of 2022 and began attending The BLVD Church shortly after. Kendra works at Hope College while Mark works from their home in downtown Holland.

I work as a librarian and enjoy cooking, exploring West Michigan, and spending time with my dog in my free time. I appreciate being part of a life group that takes time to learn from scripture, pray for each other, serve our neighborhood, and simply gather in community.
